大建旁本主行宫始建于唐代,清嘉庆年间(公元1808年)重修,现存大殿、两耳、左厢房和戏台(大门)。行宫内供奉本主为南诏清平官王乐,与红山景帝祠同脉,供奉着王盛、王乐、王乐宽祖孙三代本主,且祭祀活动相连、承接。相传圣殿本主大爷每年正月初四接红山景帝祠的大小本主来圣殿团聚过年,村民们举行迎本主神盛会,队伍浩荡,舞龙耍狮,载歌载舞,沿路神香礼拜祈祀之人熙熙攘攘,热闹非凡,场景壮观。

First built in the Tang Dynasty, Local God’s Temple in Dajianpang was repaired in 1808. Today only the main hall, two guest rooms, one left wing room and the main entrance still exist. The temple worships Le Wang, the Qingping Official (Prime Minister) of the Kingdom of Nanzhao, who shared the same family origin with Local Gods at Red Hill Jingdi Temple, at which three generation of local gods are being worshipped: Sheng Wang, Le Wang and Lekuan Wang. At this temple in Dajianpan people offer sacrifices and worships for their ancestors. It is said that on January 4th of the lunar calendar, the God of this temple would invite all the other local gods from Red Hill Jingdi Temple to celebrate the Chinese New Year. On that day, many villagers would gather around the temple, performing dragon and lion dance to welcome their gods, attracting numerous worshippers and visitors.
