At the same time the statue of Guan Yu, the Martial God who guards Hu Kou (Tiger’s Mouth) Gorge and protects fishermen, was also remodeled. Facing Erhai Lake, Guan Yu’s Hall is located on one side of Hu Kou Gorge, while Nanzhao Folklore Island lies on the other side of the gorge. This makes the temple a great place to visit, where you can enjoy the beautiful lake and snow on top of the mountains.
